John A. Day

John A. Day founded Day's Pecans in 1995 because of the immense passion he had for pecans and helping others. He started with a single pecan cracker on his patio at home, and grew the business over the next 20 years to include shelling services as well as a wide range of gourmet products. Of course, he couldn't have done it without his beautiful wife, Fay Day standing by his side throughout the years. After his passing in 2012, his daughter Vicki Day Hauk and his son-in-law Thomas P. Hauk took over the business with their kids, Thomas G. Hauk, Charli Fay Hauk-Nugent, and Dylan Nugent.
